A historical legacy in modern form
The concept of using physical protection in the form of spikes to protect dogs from predators is a proven idea with a history that stretches back several hundred years. Including Jonas Arvidsson's "protective vest" of leather straps with long spikes from 1826. But where history stopped at simple iron collars, DOGTECH took over with modern manufacturing.
We did not invent the basic principle, but we have innovatively developed it according to the KIS(S) method for the modern hunting dog. By integrating lightweight materials, stainless steel and simple design, we have created a protection system that has proven to work as protection against wolves in demanding terrain. It is precisely this specific modernization that today constitutes the blueprint that successors on the market choose to replicate.
